Lille have confirmed this evening that manager Christophe Galtier will remain in his position after talks with management.
Galtier had the following to say on the situation:
“We analysed it, we discussed it a lot, and what was said will remain between us. What was essential was to look to the future: the club wants to continue with me, I want to continue to work at Lille. I am the manager of Lille and it was clear for everyone. The discussions were concluded very quickly, before very quickly working on building the squad and the changes that we want to make so that next season is much better than this one was.”
