Serie A side Napoli are in discussions with agents over the possible signing of Southampton midfielder Mario Lemina, according to sources contacted by Get French Football News.

The 24-year-old moved to the Saints last summer, but was promised a very different project to what the club ended up experiencing: a full-on relegation battle.

At this stage, formal negotiations are yet to begin between clubs.
