Europe 1 report this morning that French President Emmanuel Macron has invited Laurent Koscielny and Dimitri Payet to travel as part of his delegation to watch the 2018 World Cup final on Sunday between France and Croatia.
In a touching gesture from Macron, both Koscielny and Payet will now be able to experience a World Cup at which they were expected to participate, but were cruelly robbed of that opportunity by injuries to the achilles and hamstring respectively.
