Speaking to Canal Plus following AS Monaco’s derby win over OGC Nice in the Coupe de la Ligue last night, manager Leonardo Jardim appeared to indicate for the first time definitively this month that Thomas Lemar would stay at the club.
“Diakhaby is a young player, we believe in him, he has progressed. Maybe a young goalkeeper will leave. Another youngster might also leave. Those are the objectives. The decision is to keep this squad, because we need solutions… Yes Lemar, Sidibé, Jardim everyone is here until at least June. I am very happy here and happy to work at Monaco.”
