Speaking to local outlet Radio Scoop, Lyon President Aulas refused to rule out the departures of Tanguy N’Dombélé and Houssem Aouar next summer.
“When players decide to play in Madrid, Barcelona or Manchester… We did not decided to sell Lacazette or Tolisso in the same way, I cannot guarantee that we will be able to keep N’Dombélé or Aouar next summer.”
Aulas also admitted that his aim is to “smash PSG in the Coupe de la Ligue or in the Coupe de France. I fix annual objectives. The yoyo of results is not annoying so long as we reach our aims.”
The head of OL also weighed in on Leonardo Jardim’s imminent sacking at Monaco: “I would have kept Jardim if I was Monaco. He is a quality manager but we also have a very good manager who is succeeding, in the essential, perfectly.”
