Huddersfield Town have completed the signing of French forward Adama Diakhaby from AS Monaco on a three-year contract, with the option of an additional year.
The 22-year old has joined the Yorkshire-based club for an undisclosed fee after one full season at the Stade Louis II, in a campaign in which Diakhaby scored two goals in 27 appearances across all competitions.
Huddersfield manager David Wagner expressed his satisfaction in securing the France U-21 international to the club’s official website: “I’m very happy to be able to welcome Adama to Huddersfield Town today. He is a very hungry young footballer with a strong desire to succeed in England, which is fantastic for our club. He’s a direct player who is comfortable with the ball at his feet and with genuine pace, which suits our style perfectly”.
Diakhaby previously played for Caen and Rennes, prior to his 2017 move to the South of France.
