Official | Caen pick up goalkeeper Erwin Zelazny from free from Troyes

SM Caen have completed the signing of goalkeeper Erwin Zelazny on a free transfer from relegated Troyes.

The 26-year-old has signed a 3-year deal at the Stade Michel d’Ornano after making only 14 appearances in his 2-year spell at Troyes.

The French-born Zelazny, who is of Polish descent, becomes Caen’s first signing of the summer for new manager Fabien Mercadal.

Zelazny, who in addition to his recent spell at Troyes that ultimately ended in relegation, has had earlier stints at Championnat National side Rodez and Ligue 1 club Nantes.

He will wear the No. 1 jersey next season and will be set to compete for a first team place with Brice Samba.
