Official | Dijon pick up former French international Yoann Gourcuff on a 1-year deal

Dijon FCO have completed the signing of midfielder Yoann Gourcuff on a one-year deal.

The 31-year-old had become a free agent after his summer release from Rennes, following a three-year spell at Roazhon Park, in which he mustered 7 goals in 49 appearances.

Gourcuff has been known as a highly-rated attacking midfielder throughout his career, having once been described by David Ginola as “best French player of his generation” and has enjoyed spells with Bordeaux, AC Milan and Lyon.

Dijon Club President Olivier Delcourt expressed his delight at the signing: “I am very happy to welcome Yoann to Dijon. He will bring his high level of experience to our group. He has footballing qualities unanimously recognized in French football. He is aware that I do not doubt that he will put all his talent into the service of the team”.
