FC Metz have announced the signing of midfielder Habib Maiga on a season-loan deal from Saint-Etienne.
The Ivory Coast U-23 international spent the final months of last season at Russian side FC Arsenal Tula, where he made just the one appearance.
Maiga, who can operate as a defensive midfielder or central midfielder, has made 18 first-team appearances since his 2017 debut for Saint-Etienne.
The 22-year-old midfielder will be hoping for consistent playing time at the Stade Saint-Symphorien in Ligue 2 to further his career development.
