Official | Kévin Théophile-Catherine departs St Étienne for Croatian adventure

Saint-Étienne have confirmed the departure of defender Kévin Théophile-Catherine, who leaves the Ligue 1 club for Dinamo Zagreb.

The 28-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the Croatian champions after three seasons at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard, where he made 73 appearances in his time at the club.

The former Rennes and Cardiff City defender was only sporadically used last season and was no longer in the first-team plans of manager Jean-Louis Gasset for the forthcoming campaign.

Théophile-Catherine will link with his former Rennes team-mate Tongo Doumbia at his new club.
