Glasgow Rangers have announced that they have completed the signing of Lassana Coulibaly from SCO Angers on a season long loan.
Coulibaly becomes the eighth signing for the Gers under new boss Steven Gerrard, and will add another midfielder to his squad. Despite only being in Ligue 1 for around three seasons, Coulibaly is already showing a good level of maturity and will be welcomed with open arms at Ibrox.
The midfielder had spent two seasons with Bastia before their relegation in 2017, before moving to Angers at the beginning of the 2017/2018 season. Across all competitions for Angers, Coulibaly made just 23 appearances and scored only one goal.
But with midfield signings being made at Angers across this summer, Coulibaly was going to find first team chances hard to come by, but at Rangers the Mali International will likely be heralded as one to watch throughout the campaign.
