Official | Nantes activate Rene Krhin option

Granada have today announced the sale of Rene Krhin to Nantes on a permanent basis, he signs a 2-year-contract with Les Canaris.

The 28-year-old midfielder had spent the duration of last season on loan at the Stade de la Beaujoire where he made 18 Ligue 1 appearances, scoring one goal in the away 1-1 draw at Toulouse in January.

The former Bologna midfielder had initially moved to Spain in 2014, making a loan move from Inter Milan to Cordoba before signing for Granada in 2015 where he played for two seasons before their ultimate 2017 relegation.

Krhin has been capped 37 times for his native Slovenia, having been one of the youngest debutants in the Slovenian national side when he made his senior debut in a friendly at Wembley in September 2009 at the age of 19.
