French midfielder Sébastien Salles-Lamonge has today sealed a move from Rennes to Spanish Segunda side Deportivo de La Coruña.
The 22-year-old has signed an initial one-year contract with the Galician side, with the option of a two-year extension.
Lamonge had struggled to force his way into manager Sabri Lamouchi’s first team plans since signing his first professional contract with the club in 2016.
The young midfielder will be hoping a new lease of life in the Spanish second tier will provide the much-needed opportunity to develop and flourish; indeed, a 14-game loan spell at Ligue 2 side Le Havre in the 2016/17 campaign was his most recent spell of competitive football.
Lamonge becomes the latest departure from Roazhon Park in a busy summer transfer window at the club; Joris Gnagnon, Firmin Mubele and Yoann Gourcuff amongst the high-profile names to have already made way for pastures new.
