Rennes defender Joris Gnagnon has this evening completed his transfer to Sevilla for a reported €15m fee.
The 21-year-old has signed a 5-year contract at the La Liga club, after two prominent seasons at Roazhon Park, where he made 79 appearances and scored 4 goals.
Gnagnon is expected to serve as a direct replacement for Clement Lenglet, whose €35m departure from the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán to Barcelona was confirmed on 12 July.
Despite initially choosing to represent Ivory Coast at international level in May 2017, Gnagnon did not make an appearance for the African side, and has since earned two France U-21 caps in May friendlies.
