Former West Brom and Sunderland midfielder Stephane Sessegnon has been officially confirmed as a new signing for Turkish team Genclerbirligi S.K. on a undisclosed deal.
Sessegnon had most recently been playing for Montpellier and had made 16 appearances for the club this season, however in recent weeks he has found himself either coming on as a second half substitute or being an unused sub.
He joins the Turkish Super Lig side on a deal until the summer of 2019, and more than likely clears a lot of wage space for Montpellier, if they decide to reinforce this winter transfer window.
The 33-year-old joined the Ligue 1 side after being released from West Brom, following spells Paris Saint-Germain and Sunderland.
