Rennes are in advanced negotiations with Red Star Belgrade for Ghanaian attacker Richmond Boakye, having made a €7m offer, according to Serbian press reports.
The Ligue 1 club are believed to have sent representatives to Serbia in an attempt to conclude a deal; Red Star are holding out for €8m.
Sabri Lamouchi’s side have offered the player a 4-year-contract, which he is ready to accept.
