Former French international defensive midfielder Yann M’Vila has finally reached a mutual termination agreement with Rubin Kazan, which will now enable him to sign for Ligue 1 outfit St Étienne for free, according to Foot Mercato.
Despite late interest from Galatasaray, Les Verts boss Jean-Louis Gasset’s relationship with the player will see M’Vila take a big wage drop to join St Étienne on a 1.5 year contract in the coming hours.
The player has already undergone preliminary medical testing and is currently in St Étienne to complete the move.
