Speaking at today’s press conference ahead of PSG’s Ligue 1 weekend clash with Metz, manager Unai Emery was pressed for a response to questions about his future following the capital club’s disastrous Champions’ League exit earlier on in the week.
“It is normal, criticism is normal. What is most important, is how we analyse how we can do things, how we can improve. The Champions’ League is very important but the other aims are important too. For me, the future, is the present, I am not worried about my personal future, I am worried for the club, the team, how we can perform well again, how we can improve… We are in March, there are still 2.5 months left of the season. My desire, my enthusiasm, that is football, I am very motivated for tomorrow’s match. I will transmit that to my players.”
