Zlatan Ibrahimovic: “Didier Deschamps should not be at the World Cup if he thinks Benzema is not good enough.”

Speaking as a pundit for BeIN Sports at the World Cup today, Zlatan Ibrahimovic discussed Karim Benzema’s exclusion from the France squad.

“For me, it is not normal that Benzema is not in the national team because he is one of the best in the world, he has won the Champions’ League, he plays at Real Madrid. His absence has nothing to do with football. If the national team manager says he is not good enough for this team, then this manager should not be here and Benzema deserves his place. I find it ridiculous that he is not selected. If you want to win, you need winners and Benzema is a winner.”
