Speaking to reporters after Arsenal’s 2-1 loss to Lyon in the Emirates Cup yesterday, French international forward Alexandre Lacazette indicated that the injury that forced him off the pitch as not severe.
“I only saw the second half (he came off injured in the 13th minute), but, from what I have heard, we missed quite a lot of chances and Lyon were ruthless. It is a win for them, good for them… We are feeling good, even though we lost, we remain confident for what is to come. Like every pre-season match, we are first of all working on the physical side and on link-ups with team-mates so things are going well. We would have preferred to win, but we need to keep working.”
