AS Monaco considering Baghdad Bounedjah move

France Football report that 27-year-old Algerian centre-forward Baghdad Bounedjah is a name being considered by Ligue 1 side AS Monaco.

The Al-Saad forward is valued at €15m. Last season, he caught the eye of Lille Sporting Director Luis Campos, who made enquiries. Leonardo Jardim is convinced that the Algerian could play as a lone striker or alongside a partner.

Other names being looked at & mentioned in the report are Crystal Palace forward Christian Benteke and Giovanni Simeone of Fiorentina.

One source indicated last night that Mino Raiola is trying to convince AS Monaco DG Oleg Petrov to take Mario Balotelli on, who is currently a free agent after leaving Marseille.
