In a statement released on social media this afternoon, AS Monaco’s primary ultras group, the “Ultras Monaco 1994,” demanded the departure of manager Leonardo Jardim following the club’s 3-4 defeat to Marseille last night which sees the Principality club sit 19th in Ligue 1 after 5 games.
“Because the club is saying nothing, we are not going to tire ourselves out by writing a lot, despite there being so much to say… Simply, it is time for action: Jardim, thank you, but it is time to leave now, and take with you those that you have been protecting. Otherwise, Misters of the board, the defence, have you seen it? If you don’t understand anything, bring in the professionals that enabled this club to win to help you understand. No problem signing cheques, just make sure they are the right ones.”
