L’Équipe suggest this morning that a €16m bid for ex-OGC Nice winger Said Benrahma remains on the table from Aston Villa with just hours remaining in the English transfer window.
As we reported last night, Brentford, who own the 23-year-old, yesterday made a sizeable bid for Amiens attacking midfielder Saman Ghoddos, who has already agreed personal terms with the London outfit, who is potentially the replacement for Benrahma.
Amiens as of late last night had not yet decided whether or not to allow Ghoddos to make the move, despite the offer on the table from the Championship side being appealing enough in principle.
