Didier Deschamps will sign new France contract until January 2023 today

Le Parisien report that France boss Didier Deschamps will today sign a new contract with the French Football Federation to keep him as the boss of Les Bleus until January 2023.

Deschamps’ current deal expires next summer and this new contract will run up until the end of the Qatar 2022 World Cup, which is of course occurring in December of 2022.

A press conference is due to be held this afternoon by the FFF in which President Noël le Graët and Didier Deschamps will discuss this contractual development.

Deschamps and his assistant Guy Stéphan have been in charge of Les Bleus since July 2012.
