L’Équipe report that Ligue 1 side Dijon have decided to appoint 48-year-old Stéphane Jobard as their new manager.
He was a member of Rudi Garcia’s coaching staff at Marseille since summer 2018, before being released following the Frenchman’s sacking at the end of the 2018/19 campaign.
Jobard knows DFCO well – he worked as Olivier Dall’Oglio’s assistant at the club between 2012 and 2018. Jobard recently picked up his BEPF – the necessary qualification to manage at elite level.
His assistant is likely to be David Linarès, a Dijon player from 2005 to 2010.
DFCO were also offered Bruno Genesio, who has been without a post since departing Lyon.
