La Depeche du Midi report that Ivorian attacking midfielder Max-Alain Gradel is being offered €250k post-taxes a month by Saudi Arabian side Ettifaq FC, who have also submitted a bid under €2m to Toulouse to acquire his services.
Talks are ongoing between all three parties. Gradel was a lynchpin for TFC last season, scoring 13 goals in all competitions. At the moment, Gradel wants some thinking time about making a move to the Middle East.
Toulouse are more open to his sale than ever before because of the costly €8m recent arrival of Wesley Said from Dijon. President Sadran wants considerably more than €2m in order to let the player depart.
Soccer Link understand that Ettifaq FC’s negotiations with Dijon for Tunisian international attacking midfielder Naïm Sliti have in the meantime failed, after both sides could not come to a fee agreement. The last offer made by the Saudi’s was worth around €4.75m.
