RMC report this evening that Premier League side Everton will not be making a deadline day play for French central midfielder Abdoulaye Doucouré.
The Toffees had two bids rejected in recent days by Watford for the player, believed to have been worth €32m and €40m respectively.
The feeling on the Hornets’ side is that the ex-Rennes man is crucial to their 2019/20 plans and even if they might have sold earlier on this summer, Everton have left it too late for them to find a suitable replacement.
Marco Silva fully intends to return in January with another proposal.
