Speaking in an interview with Le Parisien, France assistant manager Guy Stéphan was asked about Paul Pogba’s electric form at Manchester United.
“Since the change of manager, Paul is very good. His positioning as a left-sided box-to-box player suits him, he is scoring and providing assists, which is giving him confidence. In the last 10 matches, he is literally flying. He is shining. It shows that football is not just about technique and physique, it is also about human relationships.”
“Some players will express themselves better with a certain manager over another. Solskjaer has known him for a long time because he was in charge of the reserves when Paul arrived in Manchester. Today, he has become a very important player for the team.”
