L’Équipe report that Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar will be out of action for 1 month after sustaining an injury during OL’s feisty 2-1 defeat to Marseille last Sunday.
He has suffered a hamstring problem in his left leg. This comes as a sizeable blow to the 21-year-old, who had been in contention for the Lyon captaincy in the mind of new boss Rudi Garcia. His absence for the next 4 weeks may rule him out of the running now.
