Speaking in an interview with Canal Football Club this evening, José Mourinho was asked about France’s 2018 World Cup victory.
“Didier was pragmatic. He worked with his team to hide certain weaknesses and to optimise their incredible strong points. And Didier was very intelligent in the way he did it. At the end of the day, with that little bit of luck in the key moments to make it to the final… But it is always like that when big matches come. Someone has to be chosen by destiny to benefit from little moments. And France got that. But there were of course very good.”
