Layvin Kurzawa on the elimination to Manchester United: “We said to ourselves, there is a curse.”

Speaking in an interview with Canal Football Club, France international and PSG left-back Layvin Kurzawa reflected on the club’s recent elimination to Manchester United in the Champions’ League.

“I came home and my wife said to me what is this luck that you guys have. A crazy thing, why, how. I was lost, I went crazy. We said to ourselves that there was a curse. We did not play as we should’ve, but we also had no luck either. We’ve said that at Barcelona, had there been VAR, then we would’ve gone through, I think. But against Manchester, had there not been VAR, we would’ve gone through. Do you see what I mean? Have you seen the way we play? The players we have? The coach we have? Incredible things. But then we have these things happen to us… People are saying it is a mentality thing, but for me it isn’t, but I don’t have an explanation. Next year we will go again, until we win it. We are going to win it. I don’t know when, but it is certain we will win it.”
