Speaking to reporters last week amid speculation linking him with the Everton job, AS Monaco manager Leonardo Jardim seemed to suggest he had no intention of moving.
“Sincerely, I have spent 23 years of my career as an assistant, manager in the 4th division, in the 3rd division, in the 2nd division etc… I have only changed club once in the middle of the season. It is not a very common thing. I feel good at Monaco, I have a contract with the club. I am used to respecting (my contracts). Of course, as Ancelotti said, a manager depends on results and we need to continue to work and to remain concentrated on the important things.”
