Speaking to reporters following AS Monaco’s 0-0 draw with Reims, manager Leonardo Jardim said he understood why the fans are calling for his head, with the Principality side still without a win this campaign in six matches.
“The situation, is that the team is not winning. The fans want to win and it is always the manager who is in the firing line. It is normal. They are right to be annoyed, to demand things. But from our side, we are continuing to work to try to give the best we can.”
“I would prefer to win matches, get us 80 points like we have done in the past. It is a difficult moment, I know it. We need to grit our teeth and work on our limitations.”
