Speaking in an interview with Tuttosport, Lille President Gérard Lopez discussed the future of Ivorian starlet Nicolas Pépé.
“For Pépé, we have received 4 acceptable offers from 4 big clubs. For Leão there are 8 interested clubs, including 4 Italian ones. Napoli have made a bid for Pépé which satisfies our €80m demand… Up to the player now to decide where to go, with the contract offers made by the 4 clubs. Pépé will come back from holiday on Monday & I think he’ll decide in the middle of the week.”
On his preference being a move to PSG:
“I don’t know if that’s true, but I think he needs to discover something other than French football.”
