L’Équipe report that 30-year-old central midfielder Loïc Puyo, who is currently out of contract, is in talks to join Ligue 2 side Sochaux.
Puyo has been without a club since leaving Angers at the end of last month when his deal expired. Talks with Sochaux are occurring around the basis of a one year deal with the option to extend by a 2nd year should FCSM avoid relegation to the French 3rd tier.
A Dutch club and a Portuguese club have also enquired with him. Whilst he waits for his situation to decant, he is currently training with Racing FC Union Luxembourg.
