Premier League side Arsenal have had a second bid worth €16m rejected by Ligue 2 side Lorient for 21-year-old attacker Alexis Claude-Maurice, according to sources contacted by Get French Football News and Mohamed Toubache-TER.
The player is understood to have agreed provisional terms with the Gunners, and a 3rd offer is imminent from the North London side.
Les Merlus remain fixed on an asking price of €20m.
No deal is done, contrary to claims elsewhere.
