In recent weeks scouts for Manchester City and Everton have intensified their interest in 20-year-old Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumaré, according to L’Équipe.
The French youth prospect is set to participate in the upcoming U20 World Cup from the 23rd May in Poland, but Lille have zero intention of allowing the young man to depart this summer, who is under contract until 2022.
Last summer, Lille rejected €16m offers for the player from Valencia and AS Monaco. This January, he ignored approaches from Watford and Newcastle United. The youth prospect formed last PSG has a close relationship with Jonathan Ikoné and is expected to demonstrate that on the pitch next season. The intention is to give him a shot in the starting XI from the beginning of 2019/20 campaign, bearing in mind the likely departure of Thiago Mendes this summer.
