Le Parisien report that Premier League duo Manchester United and Everton have made contact over the possibility of signing French international midfielder Blaise Matuidi from Juventus this summer.
PSG Sporting Director Leonardo has also made enquiries for the 32-year-old via his agent Mino Raiola, even if Matuidi is not on the top of the Ligue 1 champions’ shortlist.
AS Monaco and Lyon have also discreetly enquired for the Frenchman, but the door seems shut for all interested parties. Matuidi is under contract with Juventus for another 12 months, excluding an extension option in his deal.
Italian sources indicate that Juventus have no intention of allowing the ex-PSG man to leave this summer, and are instead inviting Sami Khedira & Rodrigo Bentancur to depart. On his part, Matuidi has no intention of moving either, at least for now.
