L’Équipe report that 21-year-old French youth international Marcus Thuram will join Gladbach from newly-relegated to Ligue 2 side EA Guingamp.
The deal should be made official in the coming hours and after an impressive EURO U21s showing, Gladbach have agreed to pay €12m excluding bonuses to sign the son Lilian Thuram.
Marseille have been interested in the player, but couldn’t compete with the fees being discussed.
