La Provence report that Marseille are looking at a possible reinforcement in the centre of defence.
The two individuals that Marseille Sporting Director Andoni Zubizarreta has placed on his shortlist are 24-year-old Nîmes central defender Anthony Briançon and Joris Gnagnon (Sevilla).
The former Rennes defender is of interest to OM, but is expected to be too costly to move on.
Les Crocos captain is instead a more realistic option, but he is also attracting glances from St Étienne, Rennes, Monaco and Strasbourg. Nîmes don’t intend to allow the player to leave this summer, internally declaring him as “untransferable”. One to watch.
