RMC report that Newcastle United representatives are currently in Nice to close a deal for 22-year-old French winger Allan Saint-Maximin.
It is understood that Lee Charnley is currently on the Mediterranean to finalise a deal that has been negotiated for several weeks. The Magpies are confident of concluding an €18m + bonuses agreement.
There are still finer details being worked on with OGC Nice, as well as agent commissions, to resolve before a deal can become official.
