Nîmes appoint Reda Hammache as their new Sporting Director

Struggling Ligue 1 side Nîmes have this morning confirmed the arrival of Reda Hammache as their new Sporting Director, replacing the departed Laurent Boissier in the process.

Hammache was responsible for youth academy recruitment at Lens until 2007, when he joined Lille in the same role.

Hammache faces a Herculean task, with Nîmes having lost the majority of their key players in summer: Téji Savanier & Jordan Ferri (Montpellier), Antonin Bobichon, Rachid Alioui & Sada Thioub (Angers), Faitout Maouassa (end of loan, back to Rennes) and Denis Bouanga (Saint-Étienne).
