L’Équipe report that Ligue 1 side Nîmes have dramatically pulled out of a deal with Serbian side Red Star Belgrade for 26-year-old defensive midfielder Branko Jovicic.
The footballer was due to play his final game for the Serbian outfit last night, in the 2nd qualification round for this season’s Champions’ League against Helsinki, only for him to suffer ACL damage to his knee.
Nîmes have pulled out of the deal, because the player’s season is over, medical tests have confirmed it.
