L’Équipe report that Ligue 1 strugglers Nîmes want to do a deal with Championship side Huddersfield for ex-Montpellier striker Steve Mounié.
Les Crocos need to add more attacking firepower if they are to remain in the French first division and in this vein have also contacted Emmanuel Adebayor.
Paul-Georges Ntep, a former Ligue 1 stalwart, is also a name that Nîmes are looking at.
The club’s newly installed Sporting Director Reda Hammache had the following to say on the type of player that NO are looking to sign:
“Our priority is to find players who will be net positives in terms of what they can bring on the pitch but also in terms of human values, players who are capable of integrating our club’s project and our fight for survival.”
