Lille yesterday announced the signing of 19-year-old Croatian left-back Domagoj Bradarić from Hajduk Split in a reported €9m deal to a 5-year contract.
Luis Campos has been after the teenager for several windows and he will replace Youssouf Koné in the squad after he departed to Lyon for €9m.
Bradarić had the following to say about the move:
“I am very happy to be here. Everyone has welcomed me really well. LOSC is a club with a lot of ambition, who are going to be playing in the Champions’ League. I am happy to be part of his team. I am a left-back who is very attacking. I have just arrived, I don’t know the town of Lille yet, but I’ve heard it is very nice. I want for us to finish as high as possible in Ligue 1 and to do the same in the Champions’ League.”
