AS Monaco have this evening confirmed the departure of World Cup winner and right-back Djibril Sidibé for Premier League side Everton on a loan with option to buy deal.
The Toffees will pay a €2.5m loan fee for the 12 month period and have the option to purchase the player for €14m at any time during the spell.
The 27-year-old French international was consistently one of the worst performers in Ligue 1 last season and admittedly contended with knee problems throughout.
