Ligue 1 side St Étienne have announced this afternoon the signing of 21-year-old central defender Harold Moukoudi on a free transfer to go through in June upon expiry of the player’s contract with Ligue 2 club Le Havre. His new deal will run until 2023.
Moukoudi has represented France at four different youth levels, but also has 70 professional matches under his belt for HAC.
Moukoudi had the following to say on the deal:
“It is an honour to join one of the biggest clubs in France. I am very happy and excited to discover the Geoffroy-Guichard. When a coach like Jean-Louis Gasset talks to you, you are attentive. I know that I will be able to continue to progress with him. He was a big factor in my decision, just like the fans who are without doubt the best in France. This is a very important moment in my career. I looked for a place where I could progress and ASSE are the ideal club.”
