Our colleagues at Goal France report that 24-year-old winger Opa Nguette, who is officially a free agent after his contract with Metz expired at the weekend, is in talks with Belgian duo Genk & Club Brugge.
The Senegalese winger has been offered 3-year deals by both sides, but appears to be leaning towards a move to the latter after a constructive conversation with Club Brugge’s manager, Philippe Clement. Genk haven’t finished trying to convince Nguette to join however.
Nguette has rejected approaches from FC Nantes, owing to a lack of clarity regarding the coaching situation and has also turned down interest from Royal Antwerp, another Belgian side.
