Speaking at an unveiling press conference yesterday with Ligue 2 side ESTAC Troyes, 29-year-old full-back Pape Souaré explained the role played by French international and new Everton player Djibril Sidibé in the deal happening.
“I knew Troyes as a club that formed young players, but it was Djibril Sidibé who spoke well of ESTAC to me; I immediately saw in his attitude that he was being sincere. I am ready to share my experiences, whether that is from my time in England, at Lille or Reims. I am now going to take things step by step, I am going to work very hard and it is the coaching staff that will be more up to judging whether or not I am ready to start competing again. The main aim is to be physically ready and to play as many matches as possible.”
