Pascal Dupraz meeting with EA Guingamp tomorrow about job

L’Équipe report that EA Guingamp President Bertrand Desplat will meet with Pascal Dupraz tomorrow about filling the vacant managerial position after being turned down twice by Lionel Rouxel for the main position, who is currently the boss of the France U18s.

Dupraz is currently in pole position for the job and the idea of bringing the former Evian and Toulouse man into the fold had already been in Desplat’s mind in November when he sacked Antoine Kombouaré, before eventually opting to re-appoint Jocelyn Gourvennec owing to an internal clamour at board level.

Dupraz could be set to jump back into football managed in Ligue 2 – Jérôme Leroy is also looking likely to become the club’s Sporting Director. The former EA Guingamp midfielder from 2003 & 2004 is currently in said role but a French second division club Châteauroux.
